On the water, in the desert and in the sierra — the operators, guides and days out that earn their price.

Almost every experience sold in Los Cabos exists in three versions: the one sold on the sidewalk, the one sold by the hotel concierge, and the one the operator would run for their own family. The price difference is smaller than you would think. The difference in the day is enormous.

We look for the operator behind the booking: who owns the boat, who guides the trip, what happens when the wind comes up, and whether they say no when conditions are wrong. That last one tells you almost everything.

Private yacht vs catamaran in Los Cabos

The choice is not luxury versus value. It is stability, shade, group size and what you actually want to do on the water.
